The real barrier
Across many rural communities, poverty is not caused by a lack of potential. It is often caused by a lack of access to basic means — education, healthcare, water, productive resources, markets and economic opportunities.
Why we exist
Education is the foundation that opens every other door
We are building an integrated approach to community development, where education becomes the foundation that opens doors to opportunities such as healthcare, clean water and economic empowerment. These, in turn, create livelihoods and self-reliance that help families stand on their own.
An educated child can become a professional, an entrepreneur, a farmer or a teacher. A productive farm can create food, income, employment and skills. A healthy family can work, learn, invest and build.
Together, we can turn resources into opportunity, opportunity into livelihoods, and livelihoods into a better future.
